A Post- Approach

“I/O is literally putting the power and technology back in your hands”

The millennial cultural imaginary is dominated by the post-; from post-materialism to post-digital. At I/O we are capturing this progressive agenda and accelerating it. The Swedish company, Oatly, has branded oat milk as a post-milk ideology. We at I/O agree with this statement but want to push it further. We are not only post-milk but post-capitalism. I/O returns the means of production back to the farmer, not in a neo-Marxist fashion, but in a way which accepts the material benefits of neoliberalism, and actively decenters the stratified hierarchy of power intrinsic to multi-national corporations. I/O is literally putting the power and technology back in your hands. I/O intends to change the mindset around labor, less a protestant imperative of suffering, and more productive pleasure.
